Days like today remind us why it's important to keep emergency supplies in the car, and keep your car fueled up. If you have to go out, please be careful and stay safe. If you are a Farm Bureau client and need to make a claim, please call 877-324-6764.

If you own a home, you probably have insurance to protect it.
But here’s the real question: are you confident it would be enough to rebuild your home if the worst happened?

Building costs—materials and labor—have climbed significantly over the last 5 years. That means coverage that was “right” back then may fall short today.

What does that look like in real life?
A total loss on a 4-bedroom, 2-bath home could leave you with enough coverage to rebuild only a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home… or less. Your dwelling coverage is the cap on what your policy will pay to rebuild.

If you haven’t had a policy review in the last 2+ years, it’s worth taking a look.

2025, where did you go? It's hard to believe this year is coming to a close already. This marks 2 years of owning the Hedges Agency, and I’m genuinely grateful every day for the chance to serve this community.

I’ve loved helping families, farmers, and business owners really understand their insurance—finding gaps they didn’t know existed, strengthening their coverage, and often saving them money in the process. What I’m most proud of is knowing my clients are protected when it matters most, especially during the claims process. That peace of mind is what Farm Bureau is all about.

As we head into a new year, it’s a great time to take a fresh look at your home, auto, business, farm, or life insurance. No pressure, no sales pitch—just a conversation to make sure you’re properly covered and not overpaying.
