WE HAVE A NEW OFFICE!
I was waiting to announce our new location in Holbrook until I got the new sign up. I was going to take pictures and have a big announcement and I may still do that. However, yesterday, Betsy, who also works at the location, got a call on her cell phone from a blocked/restricted number. She was on the phone with her son at the time but, the person kept calling and calling until she answered. On the 4th call from a blocked number, she answered. The man on the other end said he had a strange question for her. He wanted to know if 33 Minute Bail Bonds had an office in the building with her. She said we did. He then asked her the same question again like an interrogation, according to her. She again said that I did have an office there along with her and her rock business. He seemed put out or maybe even upset.
She then told him that I, most likely, was at the jail bonding someone (I was) but could give him my number if he needed to talk to me. He said that was a good idea and she gave him my number.
I never got a call from him or anyone with a restricted number and no calls from a man all day yesterday, as weird as that is.
I found all this out when I had a break at the jail and went by the office to "check on things" as we are still getting set up.
I am fairly certain that I know who the "man" was that had to hide his number and not give his name and then ask 40 questions to find out if I really had an office there. I won't say his name, as that would be unprofessional but, I am fairly certain it was one of my competitors. Again, I won't say who I think it is but, I would definitely call him Mr. OUTLAW.
Again, I haven't officially opened or told very many people at all about the new location but, I have a competitor that seems to track everything I do.
So, "whoever" it was that called so concerned about our new location let me just say we do have a new location at 810 Navajo Blvd. in Holbrook. We share it with a petrified rock shop. The new location is legal and meets all of Google Maps and advertising standards. We will have signs up soon and welcome you to come by and inspect if you are so untrusting that I am not around there.
As you probably already know, since you keep such close tabs on us, we generally do 90% or more of our bonds at the jail and meet the clients there since we always wait for our people that we bond to come out. However, there are times that people want to meet at an office so now we can do that, too.
So, you might call ahead and confirm I am there and not at the jail or I guess you can stay incognito and try to catch me not there or be a Chicken S&% # and hide behind restricted calls and try to manipulate things from behind the scenes. It's your choice.
And for your information, Mr. Outlaw, I did have an office at 211 E. Hopi Blvd. But, my landlord, Tom, died all of a sudden. I talked to the brother literally two days after Tom's death and he said he would talk to the family to see if I could still rent but, the family was in shock and didn't want to deal with anything.
I am guessing your next trick, Mr. Outlaw, will be to send an anonymous complaint to the State Board saying I am doing something wrong and need to be investigated or audited. Well, two things you should know about that. One, I'm halfway suprised you haven't done so already. Two, we do everything above board. We check all the boxes, we return all collateral and treat our clients like human beings. So we are ready for any "investigation" or "audit" and say bring it on, Mr. Outlaw.
