For anyone who does not understand how catastrophic it will be if our government does NOT extend tax credits…this is MY PERSONAL estimate of how much my premiums will be monthly for 2026: 1,258.54/month! And that is just for ME!

That is 15,102.48 a year JUST TO HAVE THE CARD IN MY WALLET! I will still have to pay a deductible and coinsurance…

I have been absorbing the ANGST of all of my clients scrambling to understand how they will be able to afford health insurance.

Some people qualify for the private market. People like me don’t.

I just spoke to a client who lives in a rural community and has a wife and five adopted children! What an angel! With tax credits, they were paying 65.00/month (the kids are on Medicaid). If they take away tax credits, he will be paying 550.00/month which is devastating for his family of 7! I feel blessed to be on their journey! I am here to empower you about how health insurance works and how it doesn’t! These are confusing times and it’s a privilege to help others!

Here is the REALITY of health insurance WITHOUT tax credits from someone who is LICENSED in this industry:

- my two clients in their 60’s on a fixed income qualify for a large tax credit (as they should). They would pay 450.00/month for both of them. WITHOUT the tax credit, they will pay 1550.00/month!

- my 35 year old single parent who makes 45K a year qualified for a 317.00 tax credit. She pays 97.00/month. Without the tax credit, she will have to pay 414.00/month.

- a family of four just had one parent get laid off. Their income is 85K. With the tax credit they pay 490.00/month for the family. Without the tax credit, they will pay 1800.00/month!

Please share with others who do not understand the true implications of the tax credits being terminated. This is the current state of the Big, Beautiful Bill.

As a lifelong educator and a LICENSED health insurance agent…I want to share the lay of the land WITHOUT being political.
We are all awaiting some important decisions by the government to either help fund healthcare for all Americans or not.
I have clients that are wealthy, middle class, and living in poverty. EVERYONE is impacted by the decisions that will be made.
And one fact I can educate others on is that I am unable to get any healthcare for people who are undocumented.
I personally need an Affordable Care Act Plan because I need the tax subsidy AND I have health challenges that make it impossible for me to find coverage anywhere else.
My phone is going to blow up trying to empower people to navigate a broken system.
It’s not about taking sides. It’s about understanding what is truly happening that could make health insurance unaffordable for people like me and millions of others.
We all rely on our healthcare system at some point.
I hope this helps some people understand the current lay of the land.
