Every industry is adjusting to something right now, and Laura’s recent event at Ponzi Vineyards got our team talking about it. 🍷
We talked about how much the w**e industry has changed. Drinking habits have shifted with each generation, and the w**e industry has had to follow. But hasn’t every business owner had to ask whether a plan that worked for decades still fits?
Business owner or not, haven’t we all had to change how we handle our finances and plans? Tax rules change, and your life looks different at 45 than it did at 30. A financial plan that never gets revisited can stop fitting the life you are living.
We feel that shift in our own work, too. Managing a portfolio used to be most of what clients needed from us. Now they also bring us questions about taxes and estate planning, and about how to talk about money with the people they love. Many of them arrive with advice they saw online and want help sorting out what applies to them. We will keep adapting to what our clients need so we can keep walking alongside them toward their goals.
A good check-in is to ask whether your plan still matches your goals, your family, and where you are today. If the answer is “I’m not sure,” that is a great reason to sit down with your advisor. 💜
