A better than good weekend of open houses!

If you missed 8 Hannah Lane in Middle Island or 1545 Indian Neck Lane in Peconic, don’t worry—I’d be happy to schedule a private showing.

Also, I have a North Fork rental coming to market soon. If you’re looking for a rental or know someone who is, give me a call or shoot me a message and I’ll make sure you get the details.

Last Sunday I stopped by the Port Jefferson Farmers Market and ran into Priscilla’s Farm from Southold. Fresh local produce grown on the North Fork and brought right to Harborfront Park.

Just another reminder that from Southold to Brookhaven, we’re all a little more connected than we think.

Thinking about selling, but your to do list keeps getting longer? Don’t know where to even start? Call me

I talk to homeowners all the time who want to sell but feel like they need to finish every project first.

The reality is that not every repair, upgrade, or weekend project will increase your home’s value or help it sell faster.

Before you spend time and money checking off that list, let’s have a conversation about what actually matters and what can wait.

You may be closer to the market than you think.

What qualities should you actually look for in a Realtor?

Over the next few weeks, I'm going to share a few qualities that I believe matter most when choosing someone to represent you.

First up: Commitment.

Real estate isn't always smooth. Deals hit bumps. Inspections raise questions. Appraisals come in. Negotiations get tough.

The best Realtors don't disappear when things get complicated. They stay engaged, communicate clearly, and keep working toward the goal.

Whether you're buying your first home, selling a longtime property, or somewhere in between, commitment matters.

Because when challenges show up, that's when representation really counts.

Lakefront living at 16 Shore Rd in Patchogue. Closed.

Not every home search follows a straight line, and this one certainly didn't.

My buyers spent quite a bit of time searching on their own before we connected. Once we started working together, we explored several opportunities, adjusted our strategy when needed, and stayed focused on the end goal. Like many buyers in today's market, there were a few twists and turns along the way, but patience and persistence paid off.

In the end, they found exactly what they were looking for: a beautiful waterfront home where they can enjoy the views, make memories, and start an exciting new chapter.

Congratulations to my buyers. Thank you for trusting me to help guide you through the process. Wishing you many happy years ahead at the lake.

Most people know Robert Moses for the beach, but just beyond Field 5 stands the Fire Island Lighthouse, one of Long Island’s most recognizable landmarks.

The original lighthouse was built in 1826, and the current tower has been guiding ships along Long Island’s south shore since 1858. At 168 feet tall, it remains one of the tallest lighthouses in the United States.

Pretty amazing to think this piece of Long Island history has been standing watch over the coast for well over 150 years.

Have you ever made the walk out to the lighthouse or climbed to the top?
