Hurricane Season Reminders 🌀
We’re right in the middle of hurricane season, and thankfully, we haven’t had a major storm hit us yet.🙏
But that doesn’t mean it’s time to stop thinking about your homeowners' insurance.
In fact, NOW is the perfect time to review your policy before a storm is headed our way and everyone is scrambling to prepare.
A few things worth checking:
🏠Is your home insured for enough to rebuild today?
đź’¨ Do you understand your hurricane/wind deductible?
🌊 Do you have flood coverage? Remember, flood damage is generally NOT covered by a standard homeowners policy.
đź“‹ Have you made any additions, renovations, or major purchases that aren't reflected in your policy?
đź’° Do you know exactly what you'd be responsible for paying after a hurricane?
We may not have had to use that coverage yet this season, and hopefully we won't! — but that's exactly why now is a good time to make sure you’re prepared.
