I recently received an email from someone expressing strong interest in one of my listings and requesting a meeting over Zoom, then Google Meet. They sent a link to "join the meeting" — but it was actually a link designed to download malicious software onto my computer.

Thankfully, I caught it in time by having AI inspect the link before clicking.

A few reminders:

Always verify meeting links before clicking
Be cautious of buyers who quickly push toward virtual meetings
When in doubt, use AI tools to help inspect suspicious links or emails
Stay safe out there! Scammers are getting more sophisticated and are actively targeting real estate professionals. Share this so we can keep each other protected! 🔒
