Recently, my curiosity peaked regarding the correlation of credit score and age. The thought stemmed from today’s mortgage and rates and how we hear that it gets harder for the younger generation to be homeowners. I found through Business Insider that the average Millennial has a credit score of 690. While Gen Z had an average credit score of 680. Gen X had an average credit score of 709, and Baby Boomers with an average of 745. Reflecting on these numbers, decipher if you fall into these categories. Do you exceed or fall behind the average and if so, how has that impacted you from your life goals and savings?
