Data centers are now competing with homebuilders for the same electricians, HVAC crews, copper and concrete. That can push up what it costs to build a house. But it doesn't mean everyone who owns a home gets richer. If those same projects also raise local power bills while buyers are already stretched thin, how much more can people realistically pay? Where do you think this ends?
