Superintendent Riise joined forces with the Elkhart Education Foundation and Horace Mann this morning to present a gift basket to the dedicated staff at Roosevelt STEAM Academy. The gesture was a well-deserved thank you to the team for their constant hard work.

Principal Tervonda Washington reflected on what makes her school community so unique!

"My kids are amazing. My staff is effective, and they are transformable, and they love our kids and our community. I mean, I can go on. Our community, our community of support! It's a place where you come, you feel loved, you feel welcome, you get educated, and you leave to spread the word. I love our school."
