One of the biggest myths I hear is...

"My credit isn't good enough, so there's no point in asking."

If only people knew how many conversations start there.

A credit score isn't a verdict.

It's simply information.

Sometimes the next step is buying now.

Sometimes it's a plan to improve your score over the next few months.

Either way, you leave with clarity instead of assumptions.

I've watched people go from, "I probably can't," to holding the keys to their new home much sooner than they imagined.

The hardest part isn't having a low score.

It's letting a number convince you not to ask the question.

I've noticed something over the years.

It isn't that women aren't capable of making smart financial decisions.

It's that too many were never taught to believe they belonged in the conversation.

Some grew up believing money was someone else's responsibility.

Others spent years letting a spouse or partner handle the finances.

Then life changed.

And suddenly they found themselves sitting across from me wondering...

"Where do I even start?"

This week, I had one of my favorite conversations.

A client came to me with a great question. She'd built solid equity in her current home and was trying to decide between two paths: keep it as a rental and buy her next home, or use that equity to purchase another investment property.

There wasn't a "right" answer.

There was only the answer that made the most sense for her goals.

So we looked at the numbers.

We talked through cash flow, long term wealth, and what she wanted life to look like five and ten years from now.

Then, before she made a decision, we brought her CPA into the conversation.

Because the best financial decisions aren't made in silos.

They're made when the right people are sitting at the same table.

In the end, she chose to keep her current home as a rental and purchase the home she's been dreaming about.

Not because someone told her it was the "best" strategy.

Because it was the best strategy for her.

That's what I love most about this business.

It's never just about getting someone a mortgage.

It's about helping people make decisions today that they'll be proud of years from now.🔑
