Umbrella Policy, What’s that?

An umbrella insurance policy is extended liability coverage that goes beyond the limits of your auto, home, and/or other personal insurance policies.

Providing protection against bodily injury and property damage liability as well as for being sued for slander, falsely arrested, vandalism, invasion of privacy, mental anguish, or other personal liability situations.

This type of policy is best suited for high-value individuals, individuals who own many assets or costly assets, or persons highly prone to being sued.

Typically, insurance providers look to you to have the minimum coverage to qualify for an umbrella policy. If you’re someone who owns many assets, highly valued assets or is highly prone to be sued.
