The first auto insurance policy in the United States was sold in 1897.

At the time, cars were still so new that insurers basically adapted horse-and-carriage liability coverage to cover the automobile.

Imagine trying to explain to your insurance agent in 1897:

“So… it’s kind of like a carriage… but there’s no horse.” 😂

September is Life Insurance Awareness Month, and before it ends, here’s my reminder:

Life changes a whole lot faster than life insurance policies do.
