We are so excited to support five local high school students as they take part in a specialized financial education program, thanks to new grant funding. Through the program, students will complete 10 classes focused on building real-world financial knowledge and confidence. When they finish, each student will receive a share certificate to help them take the next step in their savings journey.

We believe learning about money early can make a big difference later. We’re proud to give these students the knowledge, confidence, and a little financial head start to help them build a stronger future. 🫶

Congratulations to Topside FCU, AmFirst, and Achieva Credit Union for being selected as recipients of the National Credit Union Foundation’s expanded At-Risk Youth Financial Well-Being Grant!

Through their projects, these credit unions will help young people build real-world financial skills and confidence through experiences focused on saving, building credit, managing earned income, exploring entrepreneurship, and developing relationships with trusted financial institutions.

We’re excited to see these credit unions put new ideas into action and create meaningful opportunities for young people in their communities!
