Life insurance isn’t about your death. It’s about their tomorrow.

We hear the excuses all the time:

“I can’t afford it.”
“I’m too young.”
“I’m healthy.”
“I have coverage through work.”
“I’ll worry about it later.”

But if something happens, the financial responsibilities don’t disappear.

The mortgage still comes due.
The bills still need to be paid.
Children still need to be cared for.
And the people you love are left figuring out what comes next.

Life insurance is one way to help create financial protection for the people who depend on you.

Not sure what type of coverage you need—or how much?

DM PROTECT and let’s talk about your options.

No pressure. Just education.

Life insurance is not one-size-fits-all—and choosing coverage should involve more than selecting a number.

The right policy depends on factors such as:

• Your income and financial responsibilities
• The people who depend on you
• Your mortgage and other debts
• Your current savings and existing coverage
• Your long-term goals and budget

What works for a young family may not work for a business owner, someone approaching retirement, or a household with different financial obligations.

The goal is not simply to own a policy. It is to understand what you have, why you have it, and whether it still fits your life.

If you are unsure whether your current coverage matches your needs, PNT Financial Services offers virtual consultations to help you review your options and make an informed decision.

🚨TONIGHT at 7 PM CST🚨

Derrick and I will be hosting our free educational Zoom Q&A on Wills vs. Trusts with our estate planning partner.

Over the past few days we’ve shared a few real-life situations families have faced simply because they didn’t have the opportunity to learn how these things work ahead of time.

This conversation isn’t about selling anything.

It’s simply about helping people understand their options and giving families the opportunity to ask questions in a comfortable setting.

If you’ve ever wondered:

• Is a will enough?
• What exactly is probate?
• When does a trust make sense?

We’ll be walking through these topics in plain language tonight.

If you'd like to join us, comment PLAN and we’ll send the Zoom details.

Feel free to invite your spouse, partner, or someone you care about who may benefit from the conversation.

We look forward to seeing you there.

🚨EVERY PARENT SHOULD KNOW THIS.

A conversation I’ve had with more than one family goes something like this:

“We have life insurance, so our kids will be taken care of.”

And while life insurance is incredibly important, many parents don’t realize there can still be questions about how that money is handled if something happens while children are still minors.

In some situations, the funds may not transfer the way families expected, and decisions about how those assets are managed may involve processes they weren’t aware of.

Most parents aren’t avoiding these conversations because they don’t care.

They simply haven’t had anyone explain how these things work.

That’s exactly why Derrick and I are hosting a free educational Zoom on March 19 about Wills vs. Trusts with our estate planning partner.

Our goal is simply to help families understand their options and ask questions in a comfortable setting.

No pressure.
No sales pitch.
Just education.

If you'd like to join the conversation, comment PLAN and we’ll send you the Zoom link.

Feel free to invite a spouse, partner, or someone you care about who may benefit from learning this as well.

This is a hard question.

But it’s one every parent eventually asks.

If something unexpected happened tomorrow…

• Who would manage your assets?
• Who would make financial decisions?
• Would your children inherit responsibly?
• Would your family have to go through probate?

This is where estate planning comes in.

Many people assume Wills and Trusts are only for wealthy families.

In reality, they’re about clarity and protection for the people you love most.

That’s exactly why we’re hosting a free educational Zoom on March 19th to walk through the differences between a Will and a Trust and when each might make sense.

No pressure. Just information.

Because these are conversations families should understand before they’re ever needed.

If you’d like to join the conversation, we’d love to have you.

And as always — we’re here if you have questions.

⚠️THIS HAPPENS MORE THAN YOU THINK

A family once shared with me that when their parent passed away, they had a 401(k) and a few bank accounts that were only in their name.

Everyone assumed those accounts would simply transfer to the children.

Instead, they quickly learned there were forms, beneficiary questions, and legal steps they hadn’t expected to deal with.

What they thought would be a simple process turned into confusion and delays while the family tried to figure out how everything was supposed to be handled.

During a time when they should have been focused on grieving and supporting one another, they were trying to understand financial and legal steps they had never been taught.

Situations like this are exactly why Derrick and I believe knowledge is power.

On March 19, we’re hosting a free educational Zoom about Wills vs. Trusts with our estate planning partner to help explain how these things work and what families should understand ahead of time.

No pressure.
No sales pitch.
Just information many families were never taught.

If you'd like to join the conversation, comment PLAN and we’ll send the Zoom link.

🚨THIS COULD BE YOU — BUT IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO CHANGE THIS.

Not long ago, I spoke with a client whose family lost a loved one who owned their home and had a few accounts only in their name.

The family thought everything would be simple because there was a will in place.

What they didn’t realize was that a will still goes through probate.

Instead of immediately handling things and focusing on grieving, the family found themselves dealing with court, paperwork, and delays just to figure out how everything would transfer.

It was a hard moment, and honestly one that could have been made much easier if they had been given the opportunity to understand their options ahead of time.

This is exactly why Derrick and I believe education matters.

So on March 19, we’re hosting a free Wills vs Trusts Zoom Q&A with our estate planning partner to walk through these topics in plain language and answer questions.

No pressure.
No sales pitch.
Just information many families were never taught.

And feel free to invite someone you care about who may benefit from learning this too.

This is one of the most common conversations we have with new clients.

Someone sits down and says:

“Last year I got $7,000 back…
This year they’re saying I owe.”

And they’re completely confused.

Here’s the reality most people don’t realize:

A large refund can sometimes be created by:

đź“Š Incorrect filing status
đź“Š Credits claimed without full qualification
đź“Š Income not fully accounted for
đź“Š Withholding not aligned with income

Eventually the IRS system catches the difference.

And when it does, the correction shows up as:

• A balance due
• An IRS letter
• Or credits being reversed

The goal shouldn’t be “how big is the refund?”

The goal should be “was this filed correctly?”

Your tax return should make sense to you.

If you’ve ever gone from big refunds to suddenly owing and wondered why, you’re not alone.

We’re always here if you have questions.

📆 Save the Date: March 19

Most people don’t avoid estate planning because they don’t care.
They avoid it because no one has ever explained it clearly.

Wills and Trusts are not the same.
And if your name is the only one on certain assets, you deserve to understand how those transfer.

This is not just for the wealthy.

If you own a home…
Have children…
Carry life insurance…
Or are building a business…

This conversation matters.

Derrick and I are hosting a FREE Live Q&A with our Estate Planning Partner to break it down in plain language and answer real questions.

No pressure.
No sales pitch.
Just education.

Feel free to bring a spouse, partner, or someone you care about who may benefit from the conversation.

Comment “PLAN” and we’ll send you the Zoom link.

Education is protection.
