Please read if you’re working on your credit! 🚨

I know many of you are using credit specialists or disputing accounts to boost your score—and I completely understand the goal. However, if you’re planning to purchase a home, it’s very important that all dispute verbiage is removed before your credit is pulled.

Lenders are required to address any accounts in dispute, and this can delay your loan or even impact your approval.

⚠️ Even more important:

I’ve personally seen clients’ scores drop after disputes were removed, which ended up hurting the entire file.

Best practice:
✔️ Stop disputing before applying
✔️ Have all dispute comments removed early
