Somebody's gotta tell 'em where to go -- and that somebody could be YOU!

The Folsom Turkey Trot relies on a growing group of fun volunteers on Thanksgiving morning as funds are raised to support Folsom's Twin Lakes Food Bank, the Folsom Athletic Association and improvements to the Johnny Cash Trail. This year is the 19th annual Folsom Turkey Trot and there are openings for:

7 to 10 a.m. - ADULT TRAFFIC VOLUNTEERS. Lots of help needed and it is fun. You will be responsible for closing a section of Natoma Street and cheering on the runners as they go by.

7:30 to 11 a.m. - ON-COURSE DIRECTION. Tell 'am where to go and keep them motivated as they pass by.

8 to 11 a.m. - WATER STATION. With four to eight people needed for each water station, this is great for a family, team or office to do together.

It's not too late to get on on the family fun of the Folsom Turkey Trot. Registration continues today until 6 p.m. at the Folsom Community Center, 52 Natoma Street. (And this year's t-shirt is beautiful!)

The start and finish of the race is on Stafford Street in Folsom, in front of the library and zoo. The 10K race will start at 8:50 a.m. and the 5K race will start at 9 a.m. Rain or shine.

The Folsom Turkey Trot is on Thursday November 25, 2021. It includes the following events: 10K Run and 5K Run.
