Most people think financial planning is about choosing the right investment.
That’s only one piece of the picture.
The real work is making sure all the pieces of your financial life are working together.
Retirement income. Investments. Taxes. Risk. Estate planning. Each decision can affect the others, and sometimes the biggest opportunities aren’t found inside your portfolio at all.
My approach starts with understanding where you are and where you want to go. Then we identify gaps, build the strategy, coordinate with the other professionals in your life, and continue adjusting as circumstances change.
I spent years in the Army learning that a good plan isn’t just about reaching the objective. You have to understand the terrain, anticipate the risks, and adapt along the way.
Financial planning isn’t much different.
Educate. Prepare. Empower.
That’s what I believe a financial advisor should actually do.
