New garden video is live!

Today I'm planting out my Apple Blossom petunias that I started from seed back in February. They'll be growing beneath my white gaura and alongside zinnias and salvia in hopes of creating a massive display of blooms this summer.

This is my first time growing petunias, so I'm excited to see how they fill in over the next few weeks.

It's pruning day in the garden! 🌿✂️

A lot of the plants on my slope were getting out of control, especially the Mexican sage, so it was time to give everything a good haircut. I trimmed back yarrow, sweet alyssum, lavender, Queen Anne's lace, and a few other plants to help encourage healthier growth and more blooms.

I'm always learning as I go, and this is one of those garden tasks that really pays off later in the season.
