Big news from Medicare this week - a Part D premium subsidy is ending in 2027.

1 We will not know new plan premiums until October 1st.

2 Plans will send Annual Notice Of Change letters in September.

As a broker, summer is when we complete all our education for the following year. Our existing clients may be making plan changes during Annual Enrollment (October 15 - December 7) so we need to be ready!

It is also time to be considering your plans for retirement and enrollment. Every year, I work with people who are retiring in December and want Medicare to start January 1st. If this is your year, let's talk sooner rather than later. Let's lay out your timeline, create your list of tasks, talk about what your options will be.
