For the past three decades, Dan has helped shape the culture of Royal Bank through thoughtful leadership, strong integrity, and a relationship-driven approach to community banking. Over the last eight years as President & CEO, he has continued to help drive the bank’s success by staying focused on supporting our customers, coworkers, and communities.
Dan shared that one of the most rewarding parts of his role is seeing others succeed, whether that’s coworkers growing in their careers or customers reaching important milestones. He also values being part of community banking in small towns, where you can truly see the impact being made every day.
His colleagues describe Dan as approachable, intentional, and always willing to listen. Through his open-door leadership style and steady support, he has built strong relationships across all of our offices and created an environment where coworkers feel encouraged and valued.
During his time with the bank, Dan has served in leadership positions throughout the community banking industry, including serving as Wisconsin’s Federal Delegate for the Independent Community Bankers of America. He has also served on the Board of Directors for both the Wisconsin Bankers Association and the Community Bankers of Wisconsin, along with several other industry committees and advisory councils. Dan was also honored with the Independent Banker’s Outstanding Community Bank Leader award.
