The Elkhart Juneteenth Celebration, sponsored by the City of Elkhart, will be held THURSDAY JUNE 19, 2025 at Roosevelt Park located at the intersection of Prairie and Indiana Ave in Elkhart, Indiana from 4pm - 8pm. This family friendly event will feature a live DJ, black owned food/merchandise vendors, organizations, and resources from across Michiana, gifts, live performances, crafts, guests speakers, and more.

This event is designed to bring the community closer together through education of history, fun, and networking.

My first Community Learning Project was a success. The students enjoyed themselves, learned new stuff, engaged in the project and went home with information about an organization that serves our community. We even went for ice cream afterwards. Truly a good day
