Just thinkin…
Today was the 30th ride on Slik. For some reason today the light bulb came on. The switch was flipped. He was quick to respond to my hands. He moved off of my leg. Never wanted to pick a fight. Today we were one. He knew what I wanted and I knew he what he needed. I don’t know why it took him 30 days when other colts get there much sooner but my desire to find the best in him was stronger than the urge to quit in him. We put in a big day and when it was done he walked to me and put his forehead on my chest. It was so good.
Jesus works to find the best in you. He gave everything to find it. If He woulda quit you He wouldn’t have hung on a cross. He died for all the bad so that only good was left. To respond to Him, to understand how much He cares for you is not about beating you down till you figure it out…it’s about submitting so that you can be lifted up. So that you can be more with Him than you can ever be by yerself! It is so good!
