This Friday, I will be competing again in the L5 Investments Capital Cup to raise critical funds for youth in need. Kids – first. foremost and always.

For the second year, my firm, L5 Real Estate Investments, will sponsor this incredible golf tournament where fellow business and community leaders in Sacramento come together to raise much needed funds for local charities and non-profits. The Capital Cup has raised more than $15M for local and national charities since 2009.

It is the ideal time to be a contrarian investor! Interest rates are to be cut, absorption is strong, rent growth is returning to norms of 2.5%-3.5%, institutional capital is on the sidelines, and historically we will see a post-election rebound in 2025. Multifamily investments are primed for future success due to a constant national housing shortage, strong rent demand and favorable demographics.

The national average asking rent increased to $1,725 in April, according to Yardi Matrix.
