"The Finance team collaborates closely with departments across SCU to provide meaningful insights that help guide both financial and strategic decisions, ultimately enhancing the value we provide to our members. While much of our work happens behind the scenes, it supports our ability to offer competitive rates, invest in technology and services, and maintain the financial strength needed to serve our members and communities for years to come."

"From my perspective, 'People Helping People' means making decisions that support our members' immediate financial needs while safeguarding their long-term financial well-being. This philosophy guides how we evaluate products, rates, fees, and investments, balancing today's member value with the financial strength needed to serve our members and communities for generations to come."
💡 What is the single best piece of financial advice you've ever received?
"The best financial advice I've received is, 'Past performance is not indicative of future results.' The world is constantly changing, and that saying is a constant reminder to remain proactive, adaptable, and open to new information. Whether in personal finance or managing a credit union, success comes from continuously evaluating changing conditions, making informed decisions, and balancing opportunity with responsible risk management."
