m. I have been in various financial and insurance industries for over twenty years. I have been training in the Martial Arts for over thirty years and teaching in the Chippewa Valley for the last decade. It is with much thought and consideration that I have made the decision to become a CFAUSD board member. Having served on the board of Christ Lutheran School (CLS) here in Chippewa Falls for ten years – and as the president during the last two – I have gained a unique perspective which others may not have. While I was successfully shepherding CLS through the emergence of COVID, I was also watching the route that the public schools took at that time. It is my opinion that we made good decisions and had better outcomes than the CFAUSD school board. I have been to the recent public school board meetings, and it has been made very clear to me that the only way that parent concerns will truly be heard is if I’m sitting with the other members of the school board. Freedom of choice and freedom from tyranny should be a given in our society, especially in our school system. It is my goal to make this a reality for my children, as well as yours, by giving parents a greater voice in the education of their children.
