Evans Cemetery This page is about the Evans Cemetery which is my mother's family cemetery located in Dwina, Virginia.

This page is to give some information about the Evans Cemetery in Dwina, VA. I plan to add an album with a map or overhead view showing all the grave markers that we know about. I will then number them on the map and add other photos with a close up of the individual stones. This will allow anyone to "visit" loves ones at the cemetery at any time they desire. I have also set up a not for profit account at my local bank to deposit funds for the maintenance of this cemetery. Current larger project is to stop then correct the leaning of my grandparents stone and base. Been leaning for some time now and is only getting worse. Hoping to get under back side and jack up the front, then get a more stable base under everything.

Recently found out that these "rock lillies" are some kind of Yucca plant. Slowly making progress on digging up the root...

We are not going to have a reunion this year. Plan is to have one next year, and moving forward to have one ever other year.

The family of Thomas and Eliza Evans are having a reunion on Saturday July 14 at 11 am at the Midway Church Fellowship Hall on Bull Run. They have extended invites to other family members as well, so if you would like to attend please do so. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Just a reminder that the family of Tommy & Eliza Evans are having a reunion Saturday August 19th at the Midway Church Fellowship Hall on Bull Run starting at 11 am. All the Evans family is invited to attend.
