I see this one get confused ALL the time.

Your VA appraisal helps determine the home’s value and whether it meets VA’s basic property requirements. 🏠

Your home inspection is where you’re hiring someone to dig much deeper into the actual condition of the home. 🔍

Roof. Plumbing. Electrical. HVAC. Foundation. And all those potentially expensive surprises you’d rather know about before you own them. 😬

The VA itself recommends getting an inspection.

Buying with your VA benefit for the first time? Don’t be afraid to ask questions that feel “basic.” Those are usually the important ones.

🇺🇸 VA financing isn’t always:
🏠 Buy one house → 💰 Sell it → 🔄 Restore entitlement → 🏡 Buy again.

There’s another possibility that a LOT of Veterans—and even some agents—don’t realize exists. 👀

Remaining VA entitlement.

Depending on the situation, you may be able to keep your current home AND use your remaining VA entitlement toward another one. 🤯🏠 + 🏠

This can be especially important if you’re PCSing ✈️🎖️ and don’t necessarily want to sell your current home just because you’re moving.

The key? 🔑 Run the entitlement numbers BEFORE making decisions based on assumptions.
