Boston Firefighters Credit Union is honored to partner with Boston Fire Local 718 in support of the family of fallen Boston Firefighter Robert Kilduff, Jr.

At the request of the family, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Boston Fire Local 718 Children’s Fund. Your support will help provide assistance to the children and families of Boston firefighters during times of tragedy and hardship.

Donations may be made in person at the Credit Union branch located at 60 Hallet Street, Dorchester, MA or see the link in comments to the donation page.

This week, the BFCU team had the privilege of welcoming HOPE beyond the badge to speak with our staff about the importance of mental health, peer support, and taking care of those who dedicate their lives to serving others.
As a credit union built for first responders and their families, these conversations matter deeply to us. We are grateful for the work Hope Beyond the Badge is doing to support the first responder community and help break the stigma surrounding mental health.

It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the tragic line-of-duty death of Boston Firefighter Robert Kilduff while serving the citizens of Boston.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management, and Staff of the Boston Firefighters Credit Union, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Firefighter Kilduff’s family, friends, fellow firefighters, and all members of the Boston Fire Department during this incredibly difficult time, we ask those who can, to come together in support of the Kilduff family.

Bobby “BK” Kilduff dedicated his life to serving and protecting others with courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment. A proud firefighter, Robert was known not only for his bravery in the line of duty, but also for the kindness, strength, and generosity he shared with everyone around him. His loss is deeply felt by his family, friends, fellow firefighters, and the community he so selflessly served.

With heavy hearts, we join the firefighting community in mourning the loss of firefighter Robert Kilduff of the Boston Fire Department family and fellow brother of the Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts.
At BFCU, we are deeply saddened by this tragic loss and extend our heartfelt condolences to the firefighter’s loved ones, fellow firefighters, and all those impacted.
A life spent serving others is a life that leaves a lasting mark. BK’s dedication, courage, and commitment to the job will always be remembered.
