The SFA provides information and resources that support Soldier and Family well-being, mobility and economic readiness.

Think of the SFA as the director of an installation’s Army Community Service (ACS) office. The SFA plans, directs, coordinates, trains, evaluates and organizes the following programs:
• Army Family Action Plan (AFAP)
• Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP)
• Relocation/Financial Assistance Planning
• Information/Referral and Follow-up
• Family Program Volunteers/Volunteer Recognition
• TRICARE

Beneficiary Counseling and Assistance Coordinator (BCAC)
• Army Family Advocacy Program (FAP)
• Family Member Employment
• Family Program Funds Management
