In Detroit right now gearing up for my next series about Muslims in the USA. I had couple of days to explore the city and I am fully impressed with the architecture and the downtown. I also have to say these are hands down some of the coolest people in the country. The place has a rough side and some hardcore grit like most of us have seen online but I love going in with a preconceived idea and being partially wrong about it. For the last 10 years this city has been on a comeback and people are super proud of the place they call home.
