The other day, a client came in just to open an account.

They weren’t upset about it.
They just assumed that was the best they could get with their credit in the mid‑600s.

I asked if they’d be open to letting me take a look. Nothing formal, no pressure, just seeing what options were out there.

After running the numbers, we found a refinance that:

- cut their rate almost in half
- only extended the term by about three months
- and still saved them thousands over the life of the loan

When I showed them the difference, they said, “I didn’t think I’d qualify for anything better.”
