The Washington Park Ballfield is looking a little different these days! ⚾🚧

The heavy equipment may look out of place on the field, but it's all part of the transformation. Progress continues as crews work hard to improve this community space for athletes, families, and fans to enjoy for years to come.

One of the biggest tasks right now is prepping the steel bleachers for a fresh coat of paint. It's not glamorous work, but the hours of sanding and preparation will make a huge difference when the project is complete.

It's exciting to see the improvements taking shape one step at a time. Stay tuned for more updates as the Washington Park Ballfield continues its makeover!

From new curbs and sidewalks to the transformation taking shape along the beach, it’s exciting to watch this vision come together one step at a time.
