I recently started reading The Black Girl’s Guide to Financial Freedom by Paris Woods, and even in the introduction, the message is powerful.
She highlights how so many of us are taught to pursue degrees, titles, and external approval—yet not taught how to pursue freedom. That kind of freedom doesn’t come from more hours at work or more letters behind our name. It comes from learning how to build wealth, create options, and design a life that feels good to live.
This message resonated with me because it mirrors what I see every day: people working hard, achieving milestones, and yet still feeling stuck. Financial education is the bridge that turns all of that effort into independence and possibility.
💬 What does “financial freedom” mean to you? I’d love to hear your perspective in the comments or messages.
