I can help:
▫️Check if your doctors are still in-network.
▫️Make sure your prescriptions are on your plan's list of covered drugs, or "formulary."
▫️Consider your plan's deductible and other out-of-pocket costs that factor into total costs.
▫️See if 2022 plans in your area offer extra benefits, like vision, hearing, or dental coverage.

Five Fun Facts for Seniors

We lose a few bones along the way.
We are born with 350 bones. Over the course of time and during the aging process, our bones fuse together leaving us with 206 bones.

Seniors hold the most voting power.
When it comes to voting in the United States, those 60 and over cast more ballots than any other age group.

Creativity doesn't diminish with age.
Laura Ingalls Wilder didn’t publish Little House in the Big Woods until 65. And Millard Kaufman didn’t publish his first novel until 90!

You (mostly) have control over aging.
Studies argue that only 30% of the characteristics associated with aging are controlled by genetics. The remaining 70% is controlled by chosen lifestyle factors.

Learning can save your brain.
In response to learning, senior citizens can grow new neurons over time which can help fight off dementia.

According to the CDC, you can prevent many common injuries by taking simple steps to stay healthy and independent longer.

Tips to age without injury:

✔️Talk with your doctor about fall prevention. Some health conditions like osteoporosis or hypotension (low blood pressure) can increase your risk of falling.
✔️Ask your doctor or pharmacist to review the medicines you take. Some medicines may make you dizzy or sleepy, which can increase your risk of injury.
✔️Stay active. Do exercises (walking, swimming and stretching) to strengthen your legs and improve your balance.
✔️Get an adequate amount of sleep.
