Last night at the Together We Thrive Together We Score event 🏀✨

I left completely moved. These students are overcoming homelessness, depression, and more—with the help of life coaches guiding them to a better future 🤍

One story that really stuck with me… many of these students walk into the program carrying their belongings in a trash bag.

That’s what inspired their Luggage for Life campaign, where just $100 can provide a suitcase filled with essentials, giving these kids not just items, but dignity 🤍

We didn’t just meet the goal, we helped 162 students get into this life-changing program 🙌🏽

Grateful to be in that room and excited to get involved 💫

There’s something about looking back that puts everything into perspective.

This photo was taken in 2020, during one of the most hectic and difficult seasons of my life — everything felt like a roller coaster, unpredictable and constantly in motion. And it made me think about how different things look when you finally pause and turn around.

I remember the first time I bought a home.
No guidance.
No real understanding of the process.
No one breaking things down or asking what my goals actually were.

I walked into it thinking, “I hope I qualify.”
Not knowing what I didn’t know.
Not realizing how much was possible with the right conversation.

Fast forward to now — a new year, a new season — and I realize that experience is exactly why I do what I do.

I want to be the person I didn’t have back then.
The one who explains things clearly.
The one who doesn’t make you feel behind or unprepared.
The one who shows you that homeownership isn’t just for “other people.”

I never thought I’d qualify as easily as I did either.
