Sometimes, time, energy, and peace means more than money. Sometimes walking away is the better choice.

Even the best restaurants, might not have the best chef’s. It’s key to not only review the numbers, but to work in the kitchen. This mistake was my own greed clouding my ability to see clearly. A good lesson I wanna share with you.

A Solid System is Key šŸ”‘

One of the most dangerous beliefs in business is:
ā€œWhen I make more money, everything will be fine.ā€
That’s what a lot of us tell ourselves.
The problem is that every level comes with new expenses, new responsibilities, and new pressure.
I’ve learned that there is no income level where financial discipline becomes optional.
Whether you’re making $5,000 a month or $50,000 a month, the fundamentals stay the same.
Manage your cashflow.
Protect your margin.
Build reserves.
Create options.
Because I’ve learned the hard way that there’s no amount of money you can’t lose.
And there’s no amount of money that can save you from bad habits.

I used credit to buy cashflow.
Then I walked away from the business.
One of the biggest lessons I learned?

A business that’s dependent on one person is a dangerous business. In the phone repair shop, we had one technician who knew everything.

The systems. The repairs. The workflow.
I tried bringing in other people.
I tried creating backups. But it taught me something I’ll never forget:

If one person leaving can cripple the business, you don’t own a system. You own a dependency. And honestly, most entrepreneurs are guilty of this.

The moment that thing disappears, everything gets exposed. That’s why I’m obsessed with building leverage, systems, and options.
Because options create freedom.

Dependence creates stress.

Comment ā€œACCESSā€ if you’ve ever felt like your business depends too much on one person.

Life is about evolving. From one version to the next. Steve Jobs once said, you can’t connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backward.

I used to look at people older and not understand. But, as I get older and look back on my life… And everything makes sense.

I’m proud of the growth and the journey this has been. I’m extremely blessed and grateful for another year. Thank you all. This is only the beginning šŸ”„
