Shades o' Life

Shades o' Life Take a Stand. Tee Up. Make a Difference. Life, what does it mean? Is it about being in love, or maybe it is about wealth? God Bless.

In every walk of life you will meet someone who has their own mean ing of life, and some that are still looking for that meaning. The truth is Life is what you & I want it to be as long as we are fortunate enough. In every day life we make decisions that affect us and the people around us, these decisions are usually for fulfilling self-desires. If we take a moment everyday and make one decision t

hat helps someone who is not as fortunate as us, not because they choose to be that way but because Life took them down a path that they did not have a choice in; helping them and raising awareness to help is so beneficial, and leaves one in a state of euphoria. Shades o' Life is working to raise* awareness for:

Child Abuse, Domestic Violence, Poverty, Human Trafficking, Racism, and Bullying. These areas are our immediate concern but as we get supporters around the globe we want to venture out into local markets with our future partners and help build communities form within. So join hands with Shades o' Life as we create awareness, illuminate with us as we brighten the hearts and souls of those who have been in the dark for far too long. Welcome to Shades o' Life, help us make a difference.

Of the more than 300 trafficked people Mosaic has worked with, the majority have not spoken much English and some have been unable to read even their native language. To overcome language and literacy barriers, we teamed up with local artist Jacob Haynes to create a series of wordless comics to communicate with some of the hardest-to-reach people in our communities. The stories these comics tell are based on the experiences of people who have survived human trafficking in North Texas.
