DENTAL COVERAGE
If you have ever looked at obtaining separate coverage for your dental needs you already know that the benefits are typically limited and often have 12 month waiting periods for the more costly care such as crowns and implants.
In fact, if you called me you would have heard "just take the amount of the premium and set it aside every month for when ya need to go to the dentist".
Things have changed. A company that I write for has a plan that can cover you 100% first year and if you are replacing a current dental coverage, the 12 month waiting period is waived. Yes, that is correct, it is waived.
Other plans I have looked at have a lifetime benefit for certain services meaning once you reach the maximum, that is it, your done, and coverage no longer is available for that service (like implants). This plan resets every year meaning there is no cap!
Benefit amounts begin at $1,000 and go all the way up to $5,000 annually.
Bottom line, this plan is a viable option for sure. I would be willing to compare this to any existing coverage you may have today.
