December 7th 1941.

82 years today.

This day is the day that really separated the US as the biggest, toughest military on the planet. We nursed our wounds and got directly back in the fight. It is not if you get knocked down, it is if you get back up. I still believe the greatest generation we have ever had, fought and won this war decisively.

Americans actually shot the first shot of the War in the Pacific. At 6:37am on the morning of December 7th 1941, the USS Ward attacked and sank a midget submarine near the entrance to the harbor, officially making it the first shot fired that day and the first American Shots in the War of the Pacific.

37 pairs or trios of brothers were assigned to the USS Arizona. Of those, 23 sets were killed, constituting 62 men. As a result, the US Navy actually attempted to discourage the practice of family members serving aboard the same vessels..

If you have to be on the roads, please be careful. The streets are not in good shape.

This storm is not getting as cold as wintermegeddon 2021. But do remember to keep cabinets open, so your pipes don't freeze. If your power goes out, keep your faucets running so you can try to keep them from freezing.

If you have a pipe burst, you need to head out to the street and turn off the water to your house. Call the fire department if you don't know where to do that or can't close the valve.

If it was not for spell check and autocorrect. I would struggle.

I told her if she gets 10 out if 10 she gets her beloved Andy’s ice cream.

She showed me what's up. Knocked it out of the park. This little beautiful soul is easily motivated.

INSURANCE EDUCATION ALERT! KNOW THIS

We are glad we got a call from John today.

He called me, like most, wanting to save money on their insurance. He wanted to send me his Declarations page so we can match the coverages.

WE do not recommend that on home policies. WHY????

Well, we are going to insure the home CORRECTLY and add coverages that you might not already have.

We are going to set you up for a worst-case scenario. We don't want you left wanting.

John lives in a house that would cost close to if not over $350k to replace in case of a total loss.

His previous company had him $100k underinsured. He would have been left footing that bill if something were to happen.

Also, Who would have thunk it??? We saved him money in the process, while having the correct coverage.
