💚 YOUR MIND DESERVES CARE TOO. 💚
Life can get overwhelming. Sometimes your mind just needs a moment to slow down, breathe, and reset.
You don’t have to have everything figured out today. Give yourself permission to pause.
When you feel stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained, try these simple steps:
🌿 1. PAUSE & BREATHE
Take a slow breath in for 4 seconds, hold for 2, and slowly breathe out for 6 seconds. Repeat several times.
🌿 2. GROUND YOURSELF
Name 5 things you see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you hear, 2 things you smell, and 1 thing you can taste.
🌿 3. STEP AWAY FOR A MOMENT
Take a short walk, stretch, step outside, or find a quiet place to collect your thoughts.
🌿 4. TALK TO SOMEONE
You don't have to carry everything by yourself. Reach out to someone you trust.
🌿 5. TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY
Drink water, eat something nourishing, get some rest, and give yourself time to recharge.
🌿 6. DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP
Talking with a mental health professional can be an important part of taking care of yourself.
