I use to think this was a lie… “Find something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life", but the longer I’ve been in insurance I’ve learned that it’s bigger than just selling to your clients. Sure, some tasks are more tedious than others, but it’s the instant approval notifications knowing another fmily is protected that keeps me fired up! Want to hear something embarrassing? I’ve been a life and wealth agent for going on 2 years now. When I was first starting out, I held myself back from really getting started because I thought I had to actually go to people's houses. No offense I'm just a homebody and very socially awkward, which is strange given the industry I'm in. Luckily, I learned my lesson about getting in my own way, and these days, because of Covid, all of my appointments are done over the telephone! Just like plants require sunlight and water, dreams take some TLC, too! I may not have a green thumb, if killing plants was a crime I'd have a life sentence, but I do know what it takes to keep my dreams alive! perseverance, grit, and, of course, aligning your dreams with Christ are all it takes to achieve even the wildest dreams! Sometimes it feels like the only thing that gets me out of bed is my morning dose of the Word and coffee.
