The Twilight Cancer Fund was founded
in October 2012 by Jay and Michelle
Peeples with the vision to support community members fighting cancer and to ease the financial burden involved, even for those who are insured. The Twilight Fund is supported by the generous gifts of local individuals and businesses in Dalhart, TX and others. In return, the Twilight Fund has provided financial support to over

195 local residents over $208,000. The Twilight Fund continues to serve the individuals in Dalhart and is dedicated to continue the work that began upon
learning of Michelle’s own cancer diagnosis. In honoring founder Michelle Peeples, who passed away on December 15, 2013, and the many others who have lost their battle to cancer, we take this opportunity to inform you of the Twilight Fund and to thank you for your support. We humbly accept donations through various fundraising efforts and private donations throughout the year. Board Members

We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the XIT Rodeo & Reunion for partnering with us for the second year in a row! This year’s fundraising event was a tremendous success, and we couldn’t have done it without your support.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated! Your generous contributions helped us raise over $12,750!!

If you have any leftover tickets from the rodeo, you can drop them off at the Dalhart Chamber of Commerce, and they will be used as additional donations to the Twilight Cancer Fund.

Pass the Boot for the Twilight Cancer Fund

We’re doing it again this year, at the 89th XIT Rodeo & Reunion, we’re proud to support something meaningful and close to our hearts here in the Texas panhandle.

During the PRCA performances, we’ll be passing the boot to raise funds for the Twilight Cancer Fund — a local nonprofit that has provided over $208,000 in financial support to 195+ families in Dalhart and the surrounding area.
