PSA Hey everyone.... this little accident with the Corvette really opened my eyes. I p**s and moan about how much I pay for insurance all of the time. I would never in a million years have thought that I would be minding my own business driving and someone would plow into me sooo hard that his vehicle went airborne and landed upside down.

Unbeknownst to me, my insurance agent, even though I moaned about the price, made sure I was properly insured. I am sure we have all thought about being hit by a driver with no insurance. I have never, ever once in my life thought about UNDERinsured motorist. State minimum coverage of $25k is not enough to cover just about any new vehicle, and most vehicles that are less than maybe 5 years old. I haven't even mentioned bodily injury. I would be SOL on that front if I didn't have proper coverage. Don't go for the cheapest insurance, go for the insurance that protects you properly. I was the first to p**s and moan about the payments, but now that I need it, I am damn glad I had the proper coverage.

I know A LOT of insurance agents and if anyone needs a referral I am sure I have one, but it will not be the agent that underinsures you and is the "cheapest". PSA over.....
