For SELLERS out there. I keep seeing a statistic floating around that 84% of real estate agents haven’t closed a transaction this year. I can’t verify that number, so I’m not going to quote it as fact. But I can tell you this: this is one of the more difficult markets we’ve experienced since the market downturn in 2008..

Houses ARE selling. But buyers are slower, MUCH slower, they’re pickier, and they’re much more price-sensitive.

So if your house has been sitting, don’t immediately go into full panic mode. But don’t ignore what the market is telling you either. Sometimes we need more time. Sometimes we need better marketing. And sometimes—yes—we need to adjust the price.

I follow the market numbers closely and adjust marketing campaigns regularly. I am hopeful that we will gain some momentum once the war and other economic impactors are resolved!
