Can I be honest about something?
I keep hearing from people who feel stuck. Good people, working hard, and getting nowhere.
Forbes just put numbers to it. A few years ago, if you switched jobs, your pay jumped about 7.7%. Today it's about 4.4%, barely ahead of inflation. Employers know people are nervous to move, so they don't have to pay up to hire you or to keep you.
I've been there. Years ago I left a corporate job and found out I'd lost almost half of my 401(k) and profit sharing, because nobody had ever taught me how money works. I was angry. Then I decided to learn it myself. That decision became Shamus Financial, and 22 years later I'm still glad I made it.
What I learned: a raise someone else gives you can be taken away. A skill you build is yours.
I help families and small business owners protect their income, plan for retirement, and get out of debt. I'm also looking for a few people who want to learn to do the same.
I'll be straight with you. It's commission-based, you'll need to get licensed, and you'll hear "no" more than you'd like. It's not a get-rich-quick thing. But you can start part-time without leaving your job, and you can work from anywhere.

The envelope most people skip
