At nth Venture, we build businesses where radical incentive alignment, bias to autonomy, wonderful teammates, and strong support serve as guideposts to fulfill our purpose: setting talented people free through the power of ownership.

Despite the turmoil in the markets, 2022 was an incredible first year for us. We launched seven startups, two of which just grabbed our first seven-figure valuations, and grew to a team of over 50 employees and advisory board members.

The studio business model is pretty simple: We sell a portion of our equity in all the companies we help launch to fund the studio.

Unlike incubators and accelerators, we do the incorporations and start from scratch, executing alongside the team to bring the business to market, so it allows us to set the foundation properly and gear the investing side for life-changing value creation.

What is our process?

White Space Design.
We start our journey in the design stage. This white space stage provides a map of the challenges, solutions, talent, products and services, as well as a finalized initial target market.

Dry Dock Build.
In the dry dock, we hit our build phase, creating the brand, platforms, products, prototypes, services, team and process design to hit the market ahead.

Wet Dock Test.
At the wet dock stage, we bring our prototype to the market with a soft launch, testing our hypothesis, tightening up processes and operational readiness ahead of launch.

Anchor Up Launch.
We launch our businesses and teams with tested and realistic routes to market, with a clear vision and mission, including the support, guidance and communication needed to succeed.

Operating Fleet.
Once the studio business launches, it joins our operating fleet, where it has the support, finances and coaching to succeed on its journey.
