Conroe froze over!!!
Kind of... well it definitely got below freezing, and it was very good to be prepared. Like many of you, we wrapped pipes, stocked up on a couple essentials and charged our power bank.
In the end, we thankfully did not lose power (or even internet) and life went on like normal, with just a little less activity.
When a winter storm comes, we are all quick to start planning and preparing. There is immediate and tangible consequence if we don't.
With our financial future, so many of us know what we should be doing, but we delay. Consider it a problem for another day. Maybe because the impact isn't instant or obvious. But the long-term consequences of failing to plan financially are so much larger than a busted pipe or temporary loss of power.
Have you delayed giving the attention your future deserves? If you were to really take things seriously, what would be the first step you should take? Do you have someone to walk the journey with you?
