The smiles, the cheers, and the excitement say it all.

I love moments like these because they remind me how much can happen when people take a chance on themselves and pursue something they're passionate about.

One of my favorite parts of this business is helping young professionals explore opportunities, develop confidence, and learn skills they can carry into any career path.

This week, our interns had the opportunity to learn from leaders across the organization, ask questions, and gain real-world exposure to professional development and financial services.

Watching curiosity turn into confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of mentoring.

When community comes together, amazing things happen. ❤️

This week, I had the privilege of presenting a $1,250 Matching Funds check to Food For Hope through Modern Woodmen's Fraternal Program.

Organizations like Food For Hope work tirelessly to ensure children and families in our community have access to nutritious food and critical resources. Being able to support their mission is exactly why I love what I do.

Financial planning is important, but making an impact in the communities we serve is what truly brings it all to life.

Confession: I almost didn’t take the picture.

But then I realized moments like this are exactly why I love being involved in so many different groups.

I originally met her through business. Yesterday I got to sit in her chair as she worked her magic as an esthetician and makeup artist. Somewhere along the way, a networking connection became a friend 💜

Business is important, but the people we meet along the way are what make it meaningful 🤗

One of my favorite parts about what I do isn't always helping someone join our team.

Today I had coffee/tea with someone I spoke with a while back about a career with us. In the end, they chose a different path and returned to work they were truly passionate about in the nonprofit and philanthropy space.

Getting to catch up and hear how things have unfolded was a great reminder that success doesn't always look the same for everyone. Sometimes the best outcome is simply helping someone thing through their options, gain clarity, and move confidently toward what feels right for them.

I'm grateful for conversations like these and for the opportunity to be a sounding board along the way.

Just know the other side of the camera looks like the second one 😝

Because businesses are built from Mountain View’s and motivational quotes.

They’re built from early mornings, messy desks, too many tabs open, and people who keep showing up anyway.

Colorado has a funny way of resetting your brain for a minute.
Storm clouds rolling in (we may have got rained on a bit), snow clouds still sitting on the mountains, pelicans casually flying overhead like they own the place.

Between meetings, goals, networking events, and the nonstop pace of building a business, it's easy to forget to pause long enough to actually look around.

One thing I have learned while growing my career and team: balance matters. Ambition is important, but so is stepping outside, taking a breath, and appreciating where you are while you're building where you're going.
