The LEAN on Me Project

The LEAN on Me Project As a child I used to find work in my neighborhood in order to make money. We did it to make money to go the "Silver Ball Arcade" on the O.S.U. Campus. SAD!

THE LEAN ON ME PROJECT'S goal is to teach the youth how to become 'Entrepreneurs' and find work in their neighborhoods they can perform to RENOVATE and REVITALIZE, THEIR COMMUNITY, in an attempt to Stop the Murders and the Violence in our communities! My friends and I would Mow Lawns, Shovel Snow, Rake Leaves, Cut Down Weeds, Pick Up Trash etc. But nowadays, some kids need the money in order to pu

t dinner on the table, pay the gas or electric that's about to be shut off, or pay the rent so they don't get evicted. So some turn to selling drugs just to be able to feed themselves, their siblings and to pay the rent. I've witnessed this reality first hand and it BREAKS MY HEART to know it's a REALITY! BUT IT'S A REALITY! We want to provide them with an alternative to taking that wrong path in life at such a young age by teaching them how to get the money, in a LEGAL WAY, out of THEIR COMMUNITY that WON'T lead to JAIL or HELL! We plan on doing this by teaching them a skill and how to apply said "skill" in THEIR COMMUNITY as an Entrepreneur! "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." But we can't do it by ourselves. IT TAKES AN ENTIRE VILLAGE/COMMUNITY TO RAISE A CHILD!'

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO VIEW THE VIDEOS AND PHOTOS OF WORK THAT WILL BE OFFERED! The photos are of jobs done in the past and reflect the quality of work that will be offered. There are also photos and videos of different organizations we've worked with in the past in our ATTEMPT to "STOP THE VIOLENCE!"

We're also accepting donations of working, gently used lawn care equipment to be given to the youth once they've completed training. Or any financial donations will be worked off by "The LEAN on Me Project" since we have yet to acquire a 501c3. Cash App: $theleanonmeproject

Lets take 'Santa' OUT of Xmas and put Christ back in it.

There are a lot of places having TOY DRIVES once again this year, but a lot of the children that will be receiving said toys are living in shelters, parks, cars, abandoned houses, under bridges, or in homes with no gas, electric etc., and would MUCH RATHER have the ELECTRIC and/or GAS turned back on, than a PlayStation or Barbie doll.

So this year, buy a child a gift that will mean MUCH MORE to them than a PLASTIC TOY. Buy a child a HAT, COAT, GLOVES, SOCKS, UNDERWEAR, LONGJOHNS, SHOES, CLOTHES, BLANKET or HOT MEAL. Offer to make a payment on a utility bill that is about to be shutoff or put a HOMELESS FAMILY up in a HOTEL/MOTEL ROOM for the night.

It may not be necessary to completely rule out a toy, but lets make sure a toy isn't taking the place of a coat or a meal. "Christ" before "Santa Claus."
